Used for

  • First day on the list

Contract, ID, and kit sit on a checklist. The worker chases what is missing and writes status. It does not create the accounts.

  • Laptop and logins still waiting

IT has not provisioned yet. The worker pings the person who can, with the start date on the note. Access stays a human yes.

  • Did they sign

The hiring manager asks in passing. The worker answers from the list, not from memory. Empty boxes stay empty until the file is there.

  • Tax card missing

A required document is not in. The worker flags the gap before payday work starts. Payroll still belongs to a named person.

Who does this today

HR or the hiring manager who currently chases contracts and kit. The person who still asks “did they sign” in a chat.

What it does not do

A person grants access. It does not provision accounts on its own, and it does not send a laptop.
